Generations Incorporated has two exciting opportunities available in vital areas of our organization.
The Volunteer Recruitment & Engagement Manager primary role is overseeing the recruitment and continued engagement of all Generations Incorporated AARP Foundation Experience Corps Members (ECMs). Under the direction of the Deputy Director, this position will manage and execute the volunteer recruitment plan to meet the organization’s volunteer recruitment goals for the AARP Experience Corps Programs and maintain and adapt, along with program staff, strong support and communication systems for all ECMs. The Volunteer Recruitment & Engagement Manager is also responsible for the organization’s Active Aging program, which includes but is not limited to sustaining activities that engage our volunteer corps beyond their service at our program sites. This position reports directly to the Deputy Director and supervises the recruitment and engagement team. They will also frequently collaborate with the field services and operations team.
The Deputy Director will play a key role in the execution of our new three-year strategic plan by focusing on program operation and growth. The Deputy Director will provide leadership in implementing and directing the delivery of programs in accordance with the organization’s goals and objectives. The successful candidate will supervise program staff, Volunteer Managers, Database Coordinator, and the training and literacy support team directly or through intermediary supervisors. They will act as the liaison to our key program and community partners relative to funding, contracts and delivery of services. This position will be a part of the senior management team and collaborate to shape organization-wide policies and programs that will contribute to Generations Incorporated's overall success. The Deputy Director reports to the Executive Director.
