On May 1, 2014 Generations Incorporated will honor Mayor Thomas M. Menino and present the inaugural Thomas M. Menino Community Leadership Award. The event will be chaired by Robert Mahoney, President of Belmont Savings, and Alyce Lee, Former Chief of Staff to Mayor Menino. It will be held at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology (41 Berkeley Street) and take place from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
If there is a single phrase that captures Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s governing spirit throughout his 20 years in office, it is this: “A city only works if it works for everyone.” And without the Mayor Menino’s vision of ensuring quality education for Boston’s children, his work to enhance the quality of life for Boston’s seniors, his dedication to serving ALL of Boston’s communities, we wouldn’t be able to do the work that we do so well!
We hope you will join us and celebrate a wonderful evening. The event will be a 2 hour cocktail reception & awards ceremony with presentation of the inaugural Thomas M. Menino Community Leadership Award. Attire is business casual.
