Wes Enicks, Executive Director
With a thirteen year background in development, marketing, management and sales, Wes Enicks brings commitment and leadership to his role as Executive Director. Wes is driven by the core values of giving those who are underrepresented the tools to create a pathway out of poverty and working alongside community partners to provide a catalyst for change.
Previously Wes served as Vice President of Development at Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. Wes played a key role in the organization’s growth through fundraising strategies that increased revenue and helped garner the 2015 National Agency of the Year award out of more than 300 affiliates in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America network. Previously, he served as Director of Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
In addition to his leadership positions in the Big Brothers Big Sisters network, Enicks identifies the importance of community-supported mentorship in his own life that began taking shape during his service through Habitat for Humanity in Lesotho, a small country located in South Africa, where he worked with a team to build houses that would become homes for families. Wes also served as a Big Brother for three years and works as a mentor in the Association of Fundraising Professionals Diversity Fellows program. Wes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wittenberg University and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Cabrini College.
Wes, his wife Kate, and two year old daughter Sienna live in Jamaica Plain.
