Board Leadership:

Samantha Levine

Samantha Levine

Samantha Levine is the President of the Board. Samantha joined The Bridgespan Group in September 2002 and is a manager in the Boston office. Sam has worked on a wide variety of nonprofit strategy engagements in her time at Bridgespan, including aging, education, youth services and foundation strategy.  Her work in both aging and education has included several engagements with clients at the intersection of advocacy and direct service, as well as with both national networks and place-based organizations.

Sam joined Bridgespan after receiving her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to business school, she worked for four years as the executive director of Kids Voting Colorado, a nonprofit aimed at increasing civic engagement and voter participation by educating K-12 students about the rights and responsibilities of voting. She then spent three years in the community relations department of a major bank, where she was responsible for nonprofit sponsorships and public relations, and supported grantmaking and employee volunteer activities. Sam hails from Denver, Colorado and received her BA in Women Studies from the University of Colorado.

Our Board of Directors is highly active, providing important oversight and strategic direction to our organization.  The Board consists of 17 individuals with expertise in finance, resource development, business administration, the Greater Boston public schools, civic engagement, and law.
