Dear friends and supporters,
The Board of Directors at Generations Incorporated is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Executive Director, Wes Enicks. Wes will join the organization on October 25, 2017.
With the support of the Barr Foundation, the Board of Directors engaged Third Sector New England to help guide the organization through the leadership transition. After a comprehensive selection process with a number of highly-qualified candidates, the Board unanimously selected Wes to lead the organization into a new era of growth.
Wes is a proven leader who has a significant commitment to public service and thirteen years of experience in development, marketing, organizational management, and sales. Wes comes to Generations Incorporated from Big Sister Association of Greater Boston as their Vice President of Development and previously served as Director of Development for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
"I am honored to be chosen to lead Generations Incorporated," Wes said recently, "and I'm drawn to this role and organization because it is an intergenerational literacy and mentoring organization whose services not only address the importance of education, but strengthen individuals and communities in the Greater Boston area by providing a pathway out of poverty."
We hope you will join the Board of Directors, Generations Incorporated's staff, and the organization's 300 older adult mentors in welcoming Wes Enicks as Executive Director. We look forward to introducing Wes to each of you in the near future and to continuing to work together to bring young children the gift of literacy through strong and meaningful intergenerational mentorship.
