Sal Cammarata, Lead Cluster Manager

Dr. Salvatore Cammarata was born, raised, and educated in Revere, not far from the shores of historic Revere Beach. After graduating from Salem State College with a Bachelors of Science in Education, Sal served the Revere Public Schools for 35 years as a teacher, counselor, coach, and administrator. During that time he went on to earn two Master’s of Education (M. Ed.) one in Guidance/Counseling and a second in School Administration, both from Salem State College. From 1998 – 2010 he was the Principal of the Garfield Community Magnet School in Revere. He completed a doctoral program in Educational Leadership culminating in the awarding of an Ed.D. from Cambridge College in 2010. Sal is currently the Cluster Manager for the Garfield, Hill, and Whelan Elementary Schools in Revere and functions as the Site Team Leader for the O’Donnell Elementary School in East Boston. Sal was recently appointed as Lead Cluster Manager and looks forward to collaborating with his fellow Cluster Managers and the Generations Incorporated Leadership Team. When his knees cooperate Sal enjoys power walking, biking, tennis, and golf.
