We work really hard to improve children’s literacy skills. Today, 70% of 4th graders in Boston Public Schools are struggling readers and at risk of school failure. They need help. Our solution is to recruit and train older adults for our AARP Experience Corps program. They serve as literacy volunteers for a few hours each week. We are one of the leading literacy programs in the nation. Please consider joining our team--as a volunteer, a board member, or a donor. The return on investment is substantial for everyone.
